If the outsourcing HR firm is asked to perform cookie-cutter HR functions that don’t connect with the employer’s culture, and is prevented from linking with top management and decision-makers, outsourcing is likely to be an expensive waste of time, energy, and money.

When HR is given all of the tools its professionals need to succeed — whether in house or outsourced — everyone benefits.
